Discovery Schoolhouse, referred to as "Hamburg's Best Kept Secret" by the Hamburg, New York Chamber of Commerce, has taught thousands of children to love learning and engage in their surroundings with curiosity and joy.
Discovery Schoolhouse is an all day preschool designed to provide the 3, 4, and 5 year old child with learning experiences which will stimulate his or her curiosity and development. This is the child's first formal step towards learning how to manipulate, evaluate and categorize the world, and we welcome the opportunity to work with you in making this experience a fruitful one for your child.
Everyday is an adventure at Discovery. Children exercise their bodies and minds through hands on active learning in our indoor and outdoor classrooms. We explore nature and learn from the plants and animals that live in our school. We dance, we sing, we garden and build all kinds of things. We love to prepare and experience new foods from many cultures. We read books in our library and look at bugs in our science center. We learn our letters and numbers and dream big dreams!
